What to expect with BARK Air
BARK Air is here to deliver a white paw experience. We built our flight experience for dogs first, from the ground up.
When you book, a BARK Air concierge will reach out to gather details about your dog and travel plans. This helps us provide you with the best travel experience possible.
On the travel day, dogs and their people will arrive at the airport 45 minutes before boarding. Arrival starts with a simple, efficient check-in process and security screening. There are no crates, no pet carriers, and no stressful lines.
After check-in, a highly skilled BARK Air concierge will welcome all pups and help them settle in. They will help facilitate socialization at the gate and prepare the dog-centric cabin experience.
We will do our best to ensure each pup passenger is comfortable. Flying with a dog in cabin will include calming aids like pheromones, music, and warm lavender-scented towels. These comforts will help each dog settle and feel at ease. Our concierge will also have a 'just in case' bag filled with calming treats, leashes, poop bags, and more.
During ascent and descent, dogs will be served their beverage of choice (water, bone broth, you name it) to prevent ear discomfort commonly caused by change in cabin pressure. In addition, the in-flight experience will include a variety of BARK-branded treats, snacks, and special surprises.
BARK Air utilizes direct air carriers that operate primarily Gulfstream G5s and G4s.
